L’avventure Di Riccardo is italian for “The Adventures of Richard”.
L’avventure Di Riccardo is an outlet to share some of my adventures as a vlog. I realized I have a lot of great unseen footage I shot in-between professional projects, shots I take to test out a camera or shots that didn’t end up in personal or professional projects that I really liked. L’avventure will consist of outtakes, unseen footage, and footage I shoot for kicks.
Entrata #2: This was shot back in January 2014. I shot this while I was in a high rise apartment and saw a boat breaking through the ice. I time lapsed on my Canon c100.
Flotrack hired me to produce a video on Sub 4 Miler, Sam Penzenstadler (Junior at Loyola University), who is currently ranked 8th in the Mile headed into the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The video follows up with Sam two weeks after his first Sub 4 mile and how his race changed his short term goals.
We shot in really cold temperatures. So cold in fact, Alaska was 30 degrees warmer than Chicago that day.
Workout Wednesday: Erik Sowinski’s workout before World Indoor Championships
Iowa City, IA
Flotrack hired me to produce a Workout Wednesday video on Nike Athlete, Erik Sowinski, and his last workout before representing Team USA in the World Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 800 meter. I brought along Camera Operator, Linden DeGurian to shoot alongside me.
I was not suppose to edit this originally but due to FedEx losing the hard drive mid shipment, I was hired on as editor to deliver the video in under 20 hours (included delivering rough cut, receiving feedback, making revisions, and uploading). Challenge was accepted and completed.
